Daniel J. Misiewicz founded his practice with a clear focus: protecting the rights of individuals facing the weight of the criminal justice system. Since being admitted to practice law in Ohio in 2004, he has represented clients in complex criminal matters ranging from serious felonies to federal prosecutions in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Ohio.
Over the course of his career, Dan has handled thousands of criminal cases and hundreds of felony matters. His work is defined by preparation, strategic defense, and a commitment to pursuing the strongest possible outcome for every client.
Early Experience
A passion for law that started early.
Dan’s interest in law began working summers with his mother at a Cleveland law firm, where he discovered a passion for defending constitutional rights and advocating for those accused of crimes. He studied pre-law and the sociology of law at Miami University and earned his law degree from Cleveland-Marshall College of Law, participating in Moot Court, tutoring, and a federal court externship.
Early courtroom experience as a legal intern and later as a Cuyahoga County attorney allowed him to hone trial skills and gain confidence handling complex cases. Through hands-on experience and advanced legal training, Dan remains dedicated to protecting the rights and futures of his clients.
